Motorcycle Fatality Data for FY2014 and 2010-2014 (five year combined data)
Since year 2000, the MMSF / Bikers Helping Bikers leaders have had a seat at the MassDOT / RMV table, working with State Officials on programs aimed at reducing accidents, injuries and fatalities. On July 15th, the Committee met and provided the following two presentations (Adobe PDF), based on the accident reconstruction reports and other data available for each registered motorcycle in Massachusetts.
Bikers Helping Bikers asks for your review and any ideas you might have to help reduce accidents and fatalities here in Massachusetts. Write us at [email protected] with your thoughts, ideas, questions.

Cookout honoring and thanking the family of Nelson Selig, who allowed us into their lives the past 15 years after Nelson’s death on May 2, 2000. That tragedy sparked an “awareness” for motorcycle safety in Massachusetts, and we appreciate his entire family for allowing that.
Co-hosted by the Massachusetts Motorcyclists Survivor’s Fund (MMSF), Bikers Helping Bikers and Check Twice Signs – we were going to have it in their back yard, but figured over the 15 years, more than 50 families helped, hundreds of volunteers and thousands of supporters over those years, we’ll be at where it all began, the Ipswich VFW, 11 a.m., to 2 p.m., with presentations at high noon. Ride or drive in and give your thanks to Nelson’s family.
