MMSF Updates: Rudedog Benefit, Planning Meetings, Flash Ride-Ins

08142013RudeDogFlyerImage.jpgAll the event details, advanced online tickets, and a full page printable flyer are now available for the Charlie “Rudedog” Campbell Benefit on August 14th at Sammy’s Patio in Revere. All event details are here.

Nelson’s Ride Event Planning Team Meetings will be held every Monday night now through August 12th. Meetings start at 6:30 sharp at Cycles! 128. Walk-throughs, ride the Ride Route (weather permitting – use your judgment) (Road Guards needed !) Some ‘after-meeting’ meetings then to the Rocci-Post – all done by 8:30 ! Come on down – sign up to again help make this annual Ride for local families of riders in need a smooth Event for all attendees – it’s our Volunteers that make this work!

Watch for our Wednesday Night “Flash Ride-Ins” and cookouts on our Facebook Page each Wednesday beginning June 26th through August 14th. By 1 p.m. each Wednesday, we’ll announce on our Facebook Page the location of that night’s Event and DEAL for riders, be it FREE cookouts by our supporters or discount food deals or a supported Event helping local riders. Make our Wednesday night FLASH Ride-Ins a ‘pit stop’ on your Wednesday night cruise. Nelson’s Ride Event tickets/I’m Riding In Memory of Lanyards, shirts, pins/patches will be available!

Mama T:  “I could never find the appropriate words to express my gratitude for all of you that made the T Ride the success it was. I have always known how special my son was, and how wonderful it is that you all were in his life. I consider you all part of my extended family. T will always be with us, watching over us until we are with him.”

    The “Sticca Night” at Seacoast Cycle in Newburyport, scheduled for Wednesday, May 15th, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 29th.

  • The MMSF Season-Long MMSF 50/50 Raffle pool has reached $2,050 for the lucky winner!  Buy your tickets for a chance to win!

  • The MMSF Board welcomed back Joe ‘Sarge’ Komola as an active Board Member. “Sarge” has been a long time advocate of motorcycle safety and served over 8 years as the Board’s Safety leader.  He got a new job requiring his time but now is BACK helping Riders!

2013 Survivor’s Fund Season Long 50/50 Raffle Update

StoreItem2013RaffleTicketsAs of Monday, April 8th, there’s now $1,270 in ‘winner’s pool,’ with the winning ticket to be drawn at our 14th annual “Nelson’s Ride“. (You need not be present to win . . . past two years’ winners won over $4,000!)

Carmen of Leominster won our April monthly drawing for two products, and her winning ticket goes back into the bin for more chances to win!  Next monthly drawing for two Survivor’s Fund products will be May 13th.

Order your tickets on-line at RidersHelpingRiders.org, or pick up from one of our supporting groups/clubs/businesses . . . or at our upcoming ‘sticca’ night cookouts at supporting shops!

02222013FebTurkeyShootHotShotsCongratulations to February’s MMSF Turkey Shoot Hot Shots!  Thanks to everyone who came out for pool, darts, and pistols at The Winner’s Circle and Original Bob’s Shooting Range (both in Salisbury, MA) last night!  More photos of the night (from Marie Hanabusa) can be found here and from Stacie Sousa French can be found here.

January’s Turkey Shoot Hotshots

February, 22nd, 2013 (and last Friday night of March, too!) – the MMSF’s “HOT SHOT Turkey Shoot” League where “everyone scores!”

Don’t be “shut out” of the upcoming darts, pool and pistols, food and fun “Turkey Shoots” where everyone SCORES! Sign up now with your Team of 4 (and two alternate members) or buy your individual “Shooter Tickets” ($20) or “Cheerleader Tickets” ($10) online now !

Registration (and first wave of food) starts at 6:30 pm at Winner’s Circle in Salisbury, where ‘shooting teams’ compete with darts and pool. The gun portion takes place at Bob’s Original Gun Range (just a 2 mile drive down the road). Shooters return to the Winner’s Circle for MORE food, tallying the scores and before 10:30, the TOP SHOTS are awarded their trophies!

02122013FrannyMMSFRaffleFrom the sold stubs from the 50/50 raffle tickets sold so far January’s winner was Sam G. of Gloucester who selected two MMSF “Turkey Shoot” T-Shirts, and had her daughter Franny try them out!   Her winning stub goes back into the pool for future monthly drawings and the Grand Prize (to be drawn at Nelson’s Ride on August 18th, 2013!  You can win your choice of MMSF gear in the monthly drawing, or the Grand Prize!  Last year’s Grand Prize winner won over $4,000, so get your tickets now for just $5/apiece.
